Four years ago, as I reached my mid-fifties (and a bit), I started strength training once a week and two years ago began powerlifting. I was encouraged to compete, which meant moving my training up a couple of gears. I realised my nutritional habits were unlikely to help me reach my potential and it was then I was introduced to Steve. Steve took me through my diet and helped me to establish more structure to my meals with timings to compliment my work and training. I needed to put weight on, which has been a challenge, but by eating healthily and initially tracking macros and calories I have gained muscle and strength without gaining fat. I now hold 10 British Powerlifting records (U52 M3), and proudly possess a 6-pack at 60 years old!!
